Yearbook Fundraiser

To help cover the cost of publishing the yearbook, CCS is having a Tupperware Fundraiser. All profits from this fundraiser will go towards the cost of having our yearbook published. Each year our publishing costs go up, but we have been able to keep the cost of the yearbook to you at $15 with the help of a yearbook fundraiser. On the special fundraising brochure enclosed in the envelope, the amount in the box beside each item is the amount donated to the school. The actual cost of the item is in the description under the picture. The money needs to be collected with the order; any checks should be made out to CCS. Sales Tax does not need to be collected. As always we appreciate all the help and support you can give CCS.

Homecoming at Calvary Baptist Church

Calvary Baptist Church invites you to their Homecoming services on Sunday, October 9th beginning at 10:00 A.M. There will be a covered dish dinner after the worship service. Please plan to attend and bring a covered dish to share in the meal.

Ribbon Cutting

CCS has moved into their new school, and this morning the staff and students had prayer and a ribbon cutting ceremony before starting classes. Plans are being made for an open house, but feel free to come in and have a tour. 6th grade through High School students may bring a lock for their locker. However, they need to give their combination to the office and their homeroom teacher.

Abundant Funds Fundraiser

The following students earned the early bird award for the fundraiser:

Skylar Turner, Caleb Mozingo

Jaya DeBruhl, Jadae Stovall

DeMontae Stovall, Cody Fulford

Bradley Banton

The early bird rewards: K-2nd grade students have earned a pizza lunch at school, 3rd- 6th grade students have earned a day off from school, and 7th -12th grade students have earned an off campus lunch with a teacher of their choice.

Mrs. Jensen’s homeroom had the highest sales.

Thanks to everyone for supporting the school.
