Calvary Christian School, a small, rural K-12, Christian school, is located in central Virginia just south of the James River in Buckingham County.

The mission of Calvary Christian School is to provide a Christ-centered, academically thorough education, whereby students find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a fulfilled life through a program of excellence, that leads them to develop a receptive and obedient heart for the Word and work of God in their lives.

October 29 Field Trip Tapscott Bros.


Field Trip to Tapscott Bros. Logging & Farming
On Friday, October 29th, there will be a field trip for the entire school to Tapscott Bros. Students will get an opportunity to learn about the logging industry and beef farming. Permission slips will be sent out next week in the communication envelope. We will need assistance with transportation.

Welcome to the Brewer Family
Calvary Baptist Church has called Ben Brewer as their Pastor. Please be in prayer for him and his family as they get settled in the parsonage, and he begins his ministry at Calvary.

Fundraiser News
The RADA Fundraiser orders are due today; if you haven’t returned your orders please do so as soon as possible.
The Christian Collection orders are scheduled to arrive on Thursday.
In the Communication Envelope is the information for our Fruit Fundraiser. Profit from this fundraiser goes towards the general operating budget of the school.

Homework & Tutoring Help
Homework and tutoring help for your child/youth will be available from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday. The cost for the hour will be $10.00 per student. If you haven’t signed your child up for help; please sign up in the office. Also, please let us know the subject in which you want your child to be receiving the help.

End of First Quarter
Please note the First Quarter ends on October 21st. School will dismiss that day at 12:30 PM. The staff will be meeting for a staff meeting in the afternoon that day. On that Thursday, there will not be a lunch time for the students, but ther
